How to reach Martinšćica?

By car

Cres Island can be reached by ferry from the harbors Brestova (Istria) - Porozina (Cres Island) and Valbiska (Krk Island) - Merag (Cres Island).

By catamaran
The catamaran sails from Rijeka to Martinšćica three times a week.
The catamaran sails every day to the town of Cres, where you can rent a taxi to Martinšćica.

Bus, train and plane
Martinšćica is connected with Cres and Lošinj by a bus line which runs only once a day. A larger number of bus lines run from Hrasta, a village on the main road, 10 km from Martinšćica.
The islands are connected with bus lines to Rijeka and Zagreb, and in summer months with Ljubljana as well. The bus schedules can be viewed at: www.autotrans.hr
 
 

The closest train station is in Rijeka.

The closest airports are Rijeka Airport (Krk Island) and Lošinj Airport, with seaplane flights.
